Vanity.

All the chasing over dreams,

the crave for more knowledge,

It is just history repeating itself all over again.

So that day i went into an optic shop. And there was this optician who came up to me...

I don't know who exactly the conversation went, but it lead to her mentioning about my age.

I wonder if it was the glasses, or the casual look i put on that day...

that some things are coming to an end...

I turn to the back, papers collected.

It's been a long time since i actually stare at him.

So to those out there who are concern about Bruno, my pet rabbit.

He's still fine.
His eye is still swollen, the tumor had grown only a little. Lucky for him.~VET

Operation cant be done because he's too old and won't tolerate anesthetics.

That's the problem, I just keep recalling those days...

... when he was younger and he would run in circles when we trim the grass...

... he would stretch his back and demand FOOD, when my mom comes home from the market...

...Carrot shreds, vegetable leaves, stalks. You name it.

If any hits the ground, it is goner...

... he diligently beg for his treats if my mom refuses to budge...

And you know what? He's in his 80s but still begs for food like a kiddo! XD

I think that's the most horrible thing about having a pet. =~='''

Time : 2-3weeks before SPM

Preparation : doubtful.

Heart : I'm facing some confidence issues now, if i don't solve it soon, I'm possibly a goner.

Ways to solve:

1. Call me an idiot. No one can save me. I don't know how to tell my parents, because the last time i did, they just dismiss me.

2. I will do more exercise? (not helping because i have been re-doing and redo-ing)

3. Pray alot more.

4. You know what, i just have to make up my mind that I ain't some genius that had her brain shrunk over the last 6 months. If i can do that, it'd be problem solved.

5. See a counselor. [ i will resort this to the last option.]

Dear Daddy

I am praying for ...

1.the Good weather, lord. That the weather will be perfect for the event to take place,no heavy rains and traffics jams.

2. Lord i pray for special wisdom for the committees involved in this massive project. I pray that You will provide them peace at hear knowing that at the end of the day, You are in charge of the events success. I pray for stress-relieve and also protection to cover these committees.

3. Father, i pray that many non-Christians will be available for this concert. I pray and come against any excuses that will prevent their salvation. I pray for your protection upon their family, as well as their daily lives. I pray that their parents will grant permission.

4. I pray for salvation and the Holy Spirit to fill the church premises before the concert starts.

I pray that many will be able to feel your strong presence lingering in your house. May lord you touch lives and change their heart, let them be open to your word.

5. I pray for the technical support group as they make sure the equipment will work well.

I pray that God you will make sure the sound system works fine. And Lord we pray that the music will speak to the people.

6. I would love to pray for the performing artists ---- Juwita Suwito and Busco. I pray that you protect them, give them awesome vocals and also prepare them for the day of revival. I pray God that you will make sure they are in good shape and health.

7. I pray God that you'll continue to work in your people (especially YC-ians) to take up this project seriously, and start making an effort to invite people. Although we might face rejection, i pray that it'll make us even persistent to bring our friends along.

So that day i was down with another severe blow.
(Please don't ask me why these things are happening, I'm guessing that it's part of life you have to experience.)

and I popped to God the question:

Q:What is my worth?

Mind you, being a Christian all 5 years of my life. I know what it means to worth when jesus died for you (bla bla), but my question runs deeper than that.

When the world judges you

and says you're not WORTH IT,

will you still cling onto the true worth

God has placed in your heart?

Will you?

Let's face it. The world judges people un-mercilessly, and people succumb to it.

I know i do.

You prabably are judged because of:-

1. Beauty ( They think all women should be skinny, in short skirt and sexy.)

*P.s only women in magazines do, and photoshop helps.

2. Money ("If you don't have cash, drop the conversation.")

3. Intelligence (That little piece of paper that says PhD)

4. Popularity (They scrutinize you on the spot and decide if you're "In" or "Out".)

5. Your own beliefs. Stands. Ambition. You.

And i got an immediate reply from God, like instant text message:

These 2 weeks are the toughest weeks for me.
Crying until 3am seem like a normal routine.

It is my doubt of myself. It is the doubt that i will fail.

Yea. Got my results, partial results.

Partial because i have been skipping school quite often.

Something I'm really proud of, and not that proud of.

You can say I'm running away from reality.

You can say, I'm just acting tough.

You can say, "Face it, girl!" And shun it to my face.

But no, i won't budge.

Cece told me the reality.

I got more A+s than her, but my position is way lower than hers.

REASON?

My already flunking Add Math.

can't stop laughing at this one.

this is so not my paper.

I could have been in the top 10 of school. But no, top 20s for me.

I cannot understand why i just feel defeated

before even looking at the paper.

I never say, but i really wanted to cry each time in the hall.

And believe me, i can pretty much finish the papers in a well kept time and score well when self practice.

And i feel like crying, but I'm keeping that to myself.

Coz I know that if i do cry in front of anyone,

But I am not, and if it means to cry in my own closet,

Donkey story.

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.

Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey

He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly.

Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw.

With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

Went back to school today (I'm assuming some of you covering your ears and thinking : what nutty girl would go back to school?), but i did. It just felt out of place.

Cece wasn't there.

Prinie wasn't there. (Not that she'd be much help)

Here's a list on my future. I went to CF that day. And Dr.Kim gave a short message (spontaneously) about dreams. It wasn't what he prepared earlier, he didn't know why he was prompted to share that for a little while before he got into his ORGINAL message.

Anyway, i have a feeling that it was for me. I didn't tell him that, of course.

Tall man on guard

A teenage girl about 17 had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he was waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her.

When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep.

Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed.

The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone.
